Mobile Kitchen Rental in the Bay Area, CA
Temporary kitchens for Bay Area tech campuses, hospitals, schools, restaurants, and events.
The Bay Area packs world-class universities, hospitals, technology companies, and a famously competitive restaurant scene into a region where real estate is tight and downtime is expensive. A kitchen closure here ripples fast: a campus dining hall that cannot serve students, a hospital kitchen that cannot feed patients, a corporate cafeteria that sends hundreds of employees elsewhere for lunch. California Mobile Kitchens (CMK) delivers fully equipped temporary kitchen trailers to the Bay Area, sets them up on your site, and supports you for the length of the rental.
Why the Bay Area needs temporary kitchens
Bay Area kitchens face a specific set of pressures. Space is at a premium, so many facilities have no room for a backup kitchen when the main one closes. Permitting and construction move slowly and cost a great deal, so renovations stretch for months. Earthquakes and wildfire smoke can force emergency closures with little warning. And large corporate and university campuses run dining operations at a scale where even a short shutdown affects thousands of people a day. A temporary kitchen trailer adds a complete, self-contained commercial kitchen beside your building while yours is out of service.

Delivery and setup in the Bay Area
Bay Area sites are often tight, sloped, or shared with other operations, so tell us about your access, surface, and power when you request a quote and we will plan placement accordingly. Your site needs 208–220V single-phase 50-amp power, a ¾-inch fresh water connection, a 1½-inch wastewater connection, and propane where required. Your rental is confirmed once your lease is signed, payment is satisfied, and your certificate of insurance (COI) is received.
Choose the size that fits your operation: the 20-foot mobile kitchen trailer serves 1 to 300 people per meal and rents for $6,000 per month, and the 32-foot mobile kitchen trailer serves up to 1,000 meals per service and rents for $8,000 per month. Add cold storage with a refrigeration trailer rental, prep space with a prep kitchen trailer, or washing capacity with a dishwashing trailer.
